This mix contains seeds collected from several dozen selected varieties with some amount of blue flesh.  All plants are tetraploid and they are about half modern and half Andean types.  Many of the plants will have blue skin and/or flesh, but other phenotypes will also be present due to the genetic variability of the parents.
