Phytosanitary information

Black mashuas make up a unique class that are mostly used in preserves, sweets, and baked goods. The tubers are sweeter than most other varieties and a bit tart as well. This variety takes a long time to develop color and doesn’t become really dark until late November. Before that, it is more of a brownish color.
