Accession Details

Solanum curtilobum, reportedly collected in Colombia before 1953.

Observations

TPS.  Low germination.  Wide variation in plant sizes.  Tubers elliptic, elongate, obovate, round.  Eyes shallow to moderately deep.  Whites and blues, some white with blue or red.  Short to mid stolons.  Mostly long day.  Larger tuber sizes.  Some scab.  Moderate flowering and seed set.

Commentary

I had my doubts about these Colombian accessions of S. curtilobum, since Colombia is not in the range for this species, but this does appear to fit that species.  My guess is that it was collected elsewhere and then obtained from a Colombian collection.
