    Top set onions are great to grow as the little onion on top but you can also use the greens like green onion bunche you buy at grocery store and when the top falls off they replant themselves ! I had several varieties with some bulbs bigger that I bought online from England ! You can also dig up the roots plant and I think there was bunch of onions like shallot size
