How to Apply Coupons

I rarely do sales or offer coupons, but when I do, any coupons that are currently available will be noted on the status page.  If there is nothing there, don’t waste your time scouring the Internet.  Make sure to sign up for our mailing list if you want to get information about sales and coupons.

To use a coupon, add items to your cart and then click View Cart.  (You can also add a coupon from the Checkout page, but it isn’t as obvious.  You will find a link at the top of the page.)

There is a coupon code box immediately below the list of your cart contents.  Enter the code and click Apply Coupon.  The coupon code and the discount will appear below in the Cart Totals.

 

If the coupon doesn’t work, it may be expired or subject to restrictions.  There is usually a minimum order amount for coupons.  You will usually get an error that explains the problem, but in some cases, you may get an unexplained error:

This usually happens when you had enough items to meet the minimum order amount for a coupon code and then removed an item from your cart.
