Yacon propagules?
Since tubers will not be on the horizon, is there a possibility of yacon seed being available? Will there be any source of the cultivariable arracacha in the future? Thanks
I will not have yacon propagules again until I have a new place to grow them, unfortunately. Since my soil is contaminated with powdery scab, there is no way to sell anything that has soil contact without a serious risk of passing it on. I do plan to offer more yacon seed and perhaps even focus on that instead of clones, but I'm still working that out. Probably next year for seeds.
I discovered that all of the arracacha was carrying a quarantine disease and I had no luck culturing it, so I had to abandon it, unfortunately. Since I don't know of a source of clean plants, I am done with arracacha indefinitely. It's a real bummer, but there are hassles that I just don't want in my life.
