Yuguima, a Peruvian potato

This is CIP 702860 / Yuguima, originally collected in Puno, Peru.  I requested it from the genebank a few years ago, established it in tissue culture, and only got around to growing it this year.  Not much information is available.  It looks like it is probably diploid, but I haven't checked it yet.  It produced some berries without any help.  Small and low yielding, as expected for a short day plant, but I'll let it go later next year and see how it does.
