Accession Details

Solanum curtilobum, reportedly collected in Colombia before 1955.

Observations

TPS. Good germination.  Tubers elliptic, compressed, obovate.  Eyes moderately deep.  Reds, whites, and a few blues.  Many bicolors.  Flesh mostly white, a few with slight vascular ring.  Stolons mostly short, some mid.  Mostly long day.  Heavy flowering and seed set.

Commentary

I had my doubts about these Colombian accessions of S. curtilobum, since Colombia is not in the range for this species, but this does appear to fit that species.  My guess is that it was collected elsewhere and then obtained from a Colombian collection.
