A phureja type diploid collected in Colombia before 1962. GRIN notes resistance to Verticillium. A type cpDNA (Hosaka 1988).
Observations
TPS. Round. White, sometimes with a bit of blue at the proximal end. Mid to late season. Very long stolons.
Commentary
Initial seed increase 1.5g. Feels more like a wild potato, although the plant form was more consistent with domesticated diploids. This is near in number to Ochoa 1399, which was collected in Peru. I’d wager this one is Peruvian as well, not Colombian.
