Oca, OC-14-1x16x16, 5 tubers

OC-14-1x16x16 is a breeding line that I offer occasionally.  It does not have a large enough yield or tuber size to warrant releasing it, but it has the reddest flesh of any variety that I have produced.  At harvest, the flesh is red to pink, but it darkens to entirely red with exposure.  The flavor is somewhat sweet and very tart, almost berry-like.  It is a nice variety for eating raw, which actually works out fairly well given its small size.  It cooks to a soft consistency and retains its color well.
