Solanum guerreroense is a rare species of wild potato from Mexico that may have gone extinct in the wild. The plants are small and low growing. They spread by runners and can make an effective ground cover. The tubers are small and form in fall. This species is hexaploid and 4EBN and can be crossed directly with the domesticated potato, forming pentaploids. For more information, click on the information and growing instructions link above.
Plantlet orders will include three different genotypes, which should ensure the possibility of seed production.
